भवन्ति चात्र श्लोकाः- उष्णं समधुरं स्निग्धं गवां शृङ्गं प्रकीर्तितम् । तस्माद्वातोपसृष्टे तु हितं तदवसेचने ॥५॥
The leech with a warm, sweet, and oily nature is referred to as the one from cows' horns. Therefore, for conditions affected by Vata, it is beneficial to use this type of leech for bloodletting.

वह जोंक जो गर्म, मीठी और तैलीय प्रकृति की होती है, उसे गाय के सींग की जोंक कहा जाता है। इसलिए, वात द्वारा प्रभावित स्थितियों के लिए, इस प्रकार की जोंक का उपयोग रक्तपात के लिए लाभकारी होता है।
