मांसान्यत्र निबद्धानि सिराभिः स्नायुभिस्तथा । अस्थीन्यालम्बनं कृत्वा न शीर्यन्ते पतन्ति वा ॥२३॥
The flesh is connected elsewhere with the bones and the sinews; while they serve as a support for the bones, they do not decay or fall apart.

मांस कहीं और अस्थियों और स्नायुओं से जुड़ा होता है; जबकि ये अस्थियों के लिए सहारा का काम करते हैं, ये न तो सड़ते हैं और न ही गिरते हैं।
