sanskrit

In the union of a man and woman, the Tejas (fiery energy) in the body is stirred by Vayu (air element), leading to the emission of semen. This semen, upon entering the womb, combines with the menstrual fluid. From the combination of Agni (fire) and Soma (water), the embryo forms and reaches the womb. The soul, referred to by many names such as the knower, the perceiver, the toucher, the smeller, the seer, the hearer, the taster, the creator, the mover, the witness, the supporter, and the speaker, is unchanging, eternal, and incomprehensible. By divine association, this eternal soul enters the womb, accompanied by the subtle body (Bhutatma), and influenced by Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas (the three Gunas), divine and demonic influences, and various other factors driven by Vayu. It remains in the womb, guided by fate and divine forces.
