पित्तयुतस्तु श्लेष्मा सङ्घातमुपगम्य यथोक्तां परिवृद्धिं प्राप्य बस्तिमुखमधिष्ठाय स्रोतो निरुणद्धि, तस्य मूत्रप्रतीघातादूष्यते चूष्यते दह्यते पच्यत इव बस्तिरुष्णवातश्च भवति; अश्मरी चात्र सरक्ता पीतावभासा कृष्णा भल्लातकास्थिप्रतिमा मधुवर्णा वा भवति, तां पैत्तिकीमिति विद्यात् ||९||

In the case of Pittaja Ashmari (Pitta-originated stone), when Kapha, mixed with Pitta, accumulates and increases in size, it obstructs the urinary channel at the mouth of the bladder. This obstruction causes the bladder to become heated, irritated, and affected by the Pitta. The stone in this condition is red, yellowish, or black, resembling the stone of the Bhallataka fruit, or honey-colored. This type is known as Pittiki.

पित्तयुत अश्मरी (पित्त द्वारा उत्पन्न पत्थर) के मामले में, जब श्लेष्मा, पित्त के साथ मिलकर, जमा होता है और आकार में बढ़ जाता है, तो यह मूत्राशय के मुख पर मूत्रमार्ग को अवरुद्ध कर देता है। इस अवरोध के कारण मूत्राशय गरम, उत्तेजित और पित्त से प्रभावित हो जाता है। इस स्थिति में पत्थर लाल, पीत या काले रंग का होता है, जो भल्लातक फल के पत्थर या मधु के रंग जैसा होता है। इस प्रकार को पैत्तिकी के रूप में जाना जाता है।
