शङ्खावर्तनिभाश्चापि उपर्युपरि संस्थिताः । गजतालुनिभाश्चापि वर्णतः सम्प्रकीर्त्तिताः । रोमान्तेभ्यो यवाध्यर्धो गुदौष्ठः परिकीर्तितः ॥६॥
These folds are said to resemble the shape of a conch shell, situated one above the other. They are also compared to the palate of an elephant in appearance. Additionally, the rectal orifice is said to extend about one and a half barley grains beyond the surrounding skin.

Due to these, the patient suffers from sharp pain, which is felt in the lower back, buttocks, sides, waist, and abdomen. The pain is often associated with symptoms of Gulma (abdominal tumors), Ashthila (hard tumors), enlarged spleen, and ascites. The patient exhibits a dark complexion, and their nails, eyes, teeth, face, urine, and stool may also become dark.
