मण्डूकाः- कृष्णः, सारः, कुहको, हरितो, रक्तो, यववर्णाभो, भृकुटी, कोटिकश्चेत्यष्टौ; तैर्दष्टस्य दंशे कण्डूर्भवति पीतफेनागमश्च वक्त्रात्, भृकुटीकोटिकाभ्यामेतदेव दाहश्छर्दिर्मूर्च्छा चातिमात्रम् ॥३१॥
The eight types of frogs are: black, yellow, green, red, barley-colored, wrinkled, spotted, and with a crest. When bitten by these, the symptoms include itching, a yellow foam-like discharge from the mouth, and extreme burning, vomiting, and fainting with the wrinkled and spotted varieties.

Among them, the Kashayi and Sthalika varieties cause the appearance of dark-colored pimples, along with other complications like fever and more. The Kashayi and Sthalika flies are especially dangerous as they can be fatal.
