रजन्याः पश्चिमे यामे सर्पाश्चित्राश्चरन्ति हि | शेषेषूक्ता मण्डलिनो दिवा दर्वीकराः स्मृताः ||३१||

In the western direction during the night, serpents with varied colors move around. The remaining serpents, with circular markings, are known as Dārvikaras during the day.

english translation

रात्रि के समय पश्चिम दिशा में विविध रंगों वाले नाग विचरण करते हैं। गोलाकार चिह्नों वाले शेष नागों को दिन के दौरान दार्विकार के नाम से जाना जाता है।
