पथ्या व्योषं सेक्षुजातं सतैलं लीढ्वा शीघ्रं मुच्यते कुष्ठरोगात् । धात्रीपथ्याक्षोपकुल्याविडङ्गान् क्षौद्राज्याभ्यामेकतो वाऽवलिह्यात् ॥४४॥

Consuming well-boiled sweet sugarcane juice along with ghee quickly relieves leprosy. One should take either a mixture of the root of the Pathya plant and the fruit of the Vidanga plant with jaggery or prepare it in some other form.

अच्छी तरह उबले हुए मीठे गन्ने के रस के साथ घी का सेवन करने से कुष्ठ रोग जल्दी ठीक होता है। किसी भी रूप में पथ्या पौधे की जड़ और विदंग पौधे के फल को गुड़ के साथ मिलाकर लेना चाहिए।
