Sushruta Samhita
मुखेन तं पिबेत् पूर्वं नासिकाभ्यां ततः पिबेत् । मुखपीतं मुखेनैव वमेत् पीतं च नासया ॥७॥
First, let him drink it through the mouth; then let him inhale it through the nostrils. What has been drunk through the mouth should be vomited out through the mouth, and what has been inhaled through the nostrils should be expelled through the nostrils.

पहले उसे मुँह से पीने दो; फिर उसे नाक से सांस लेने दें। जो मुंह से पिया गया है उसे मुंह से उगल देना चाहिए और जो नासिका से अंदर लिया गया है उसे नासिका से बाहर निकाल देना चाहिए।

mukhena taM pibet pUrvaM nAsikAbhyAM tataH pibet । mukhapItaM mukhenaiva vamet pItaM ca nAsayA ॥7॥
