ततो नेत्रमपनीय त्रिंशन्मात्राः पीडनकालादुपेक्ष्योत्तिष्ठेत्यातुरं ब्रूयात् । अथातुरमुपवेशयेदुत्कुटुकं बस्त्यागमनार्थम् । निरूहप्रत्यागमनकालस्तु मुहूर्तो भवति ॥५॥

Then, after removing the nozzle, one should tell the patient to remain still for the duration of thirty matras (a measure of time) without moving. After that, one should help the patient to sit up to facilitate the expulsion of the enema. The time for the return of the Niruha (the substance of the enema) is indeed a moment.

फिर, नोजल को हटाने के बाद, रोगी को तीस मात्रा (समय की एक माप) तक बिना हिले-डुले स्थिर रहने के लिए कहना चाहिए। उसके बाद, रोगी को बैठने में मदद करनी चाहिए ताकि एनीमा को बाहर निकालने में आसानी हो। निरुहा (एनीमा का पदार्थ) के वापस आने का समय वास्तव में एक क्षण है।
