Now we will describe the process of preparing medicated oils. There are three types: mild, moderate, and strong. Among these, the one where the medicinal properties are perceived clearly is called mild; the one that resembles the residue of honey, appearing smooth, is called moderate; and the one that is somewhat thick and oily is called strong. Therefore, the burnt oil is considered strong; it should be processed properly again. Here, the mild oil is for drinking, moderate for nasal and body applications, and strong for enema and ear filling.
