उपरिष्टात् प्रवक्ष्यामि विधिं पलितनाशनम् । मसूरिकायां कुष्ठघ्नलेपनादिक्रिया हिता ॥३१॥

"The method for treating conditions of pitta, mucus, and sarpa is also commendable. One should take out the gemstone, mash it with sesame and the juice of wild ginger."

"पित्त, बलगम और सर्प के उपचार की विधि भी सराहनीय है। रत्न को निकालकर, उसे तिल और जंगली अदरक के रस के साथ मसल लेना चाहिए।"

"One should gradually burn the affected area with a mixture of alkali and fire, or alternatively, by applying a soothing oil; the affected vein can be released by means of the Nīlikā plant."

"क्षार और अग्नि के मिश्रण से प्रभावित क्षेत्र को धीरे-धीरे जलाना चाहिए, या फिर एक सुखदायक तेल लगाकर; प्रभावित नस को नीलिका पौधे द्वारा मुक्त किया जा सकता है।"

"According to the rules and practices, after thoroughly rubbing the affected area on the forehead and other parts, one should apply a paste made of milk mixed with the juice of the Kshirī plant."

"नियम एवं रीति के अनुसार माथे तथा अन्य भागों पर प्रभावित भाग को अच्छी तरह मलने के बाद क्षीरी पौधे के रस में दूध मिलाकर उसका लेप लगाना चाहिए।"
