शरावनिम्नमध्याश्च यवमध्यास्तथाऽपरे । एवम्प्रकाराकृतयो भवन्त्यागन्तवो व्रणाः ॥६॥
There are also wounds that are of sharp, low, and middle types, and those in the middle of barley; thus, there are many forms and shapes of wounds that occur.

ऐसे घाव भी होते हैं जो तीक्ष्ण, निम्न और मध्यम प्रकार के होते हैं और जो जौ के बीच में होते हैं; इस प्रकार, घावों के कई रूप और आकार होते हैं।

zarAvanimnamadhyAzca yavamadhyAstathA'pare । evamprakArAkRtayo bhavantyAgantavo vraNAH ॥6॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदोषजा वा स्वयं भिन्ना, न तु वैद्यनिमित्तजाः । भिषग्व्रणाकृतिज्ञो हि न मोहमधिगच्छति ॥७॥
Wounds that arise from the doshas are inherently distinct; they are not caused by the physician. One who is knowledgeable about the forms of wounds does not fall into delusion.

दोषों से उत्पन्न व्रण स्वभाव से भिन्न होते हैं; ये वैद्य द्वारा नहीं उत्पन्न होते। जो व्रणों के प्रकारों को जानता है, वह भ्रम में नहीं पड़ता।

doSajA vA svayaM bhinnA, na tu vaidyanimittajAH । bhiSagvraNAkRtijJo hi na mohamadhigacchati ॥7॥

Even in wounds that are exceedingly difficult to observe, and those that are distorted, the ancient physician is one who is an expert in the myriad forms of such wounds.
