कषायभस्ममृत्कीर्णां बद्ध्वा सूत्रेण सूत्रवित् । अग्नितप्तेन शस्त्रेण छिन्द्यान्मधुसमायुतम् ॥४६॥
Having bound the powder of the astringent and ashes in a thread by an expert, it should be cut with a weapon heated by fire and mixed with honey.

कषाय और भस्म को सूत्र में बांधकर, अग्नि से तापन किए गए शस्त्र से इसे काटना चाहिए और मधु के साथ मिलाना चाहिए।

After binding the wound, a drink of clarified butter should be offered with well-digested food. Besides the oil drink, the drinking of milk is also prescribed.
