सान्तर्धूमस्तस्य मज्जा तु दग्धः क्षिप्तस्तैले सैन्धवं चाञ्जनं च । पैल्ल्यं हन्यादर्मनक्तान्ध्यकाचान् नीलीरोगं तैमिरं चाञ्जनेन ॥३५॥

"The marrow is to be burned with smoke; the oil should be mixed with salt and soot. This remedy is said to destroy the diseases of darkness, such as night blindness and the blue disease, when applied with the prescribed soot."

english translation

"मज्जा को धुएं के साथ जलाना चाहिए; तेल को नमक और कालिख के साथ मिलाना चाहिए। यह उपचार अंधेरे रोगों, जैसे रात की अंधता और नीला रोग, को नष्ट करने के लिए कहा गया है, जब इसे निर्धारित कालिख के साथ लगाया जाता है।"
