An intelligent physician should treat a diabetic patient, who has been abandoned by other physicians, with this course of treatment.

बुद्धिमान चिकित्सक इस उपचार से मधुमेह से पीड़ित उस रोगी का उपचार करें, जिसे अन्य चिकित्सकों द्वारा छोड़ दिया गया हो।

madhumehitvamApannaM bhiSagbhiH parivarjitam । yogenAnena matimAn pramehiNamupAcaret ॥3॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमासे शुक्रे शुचौ चैव शैलाः सूर्यांशुतापिताः । जतुप्रकाशं स्वरसं शिलाभ्यः प्रस्रवन्ति हि ॥४॥
In the months of Jyeshtha and Ashadha, when the mountains are heated by the rays of the sun, a resinous substance with a luster like shellac exudes from the rocks.

ज्येष्ठ और आषाढ़ के महीनों में, जब सूर्य की किरणों से पर्वत तप्त होते हैं, तब शिलाओं से लाख जैसी चमक वाला एक राल पदार्थ बहने लगता है।

mAse zukre zucau caiva zailAH sUryAMzutApitAH । jatuprakAzaM svarasaM zilAbhyaH prasravanti hi ॥4॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिलाजत्विति विख्यातं सर्वव्याधिविनाशनम् । त्रप्वादीनां तु लोहानां षण्णामन्यतमान्वयम् ॥५॥
This substance is known as Shilajatu, the destroyer of all diseases. It originates from one or the other of the six metals, such as tin and others.
