sanskrit

One who is firm in self-discipline should travel for a hundred yojanas, just like a sage residing in a village for a night without any attachments. A wealthy person should enjoy the company of animals like deer, while feasting on fruits such as Shyamaka, Kanivara, Amalaki, Kapiththa, and Tinduka. One should regularly follow the path of righteousness and enjoy the products of the land. A Brahmin, while maintaining a life of integrity, should uplift the spiritual vehicle (Brahmaratha) and continually engage in agricultural activities or dig a well. However, one who is lean should always be protected from harm.
