Surya Siddhanta
स्वशङ्कुमूर्धगौ व्योम्नि ग्रहौ दृक्तुल्यताम् इतौ । उल्लेखम् तारकास्पर्शाद् भेदे भेदः प्रकीर्त्यते॥
The two planets in the sky situated at the apex of each of the cones and arrived at the coincidence of observed place (drik), when there is contact of the stars is called ullekha (depiction). When there is separation, it is called bheda/bhedayuddha (division).
english translation
svazaGkumUrdhagau vyomni grahau dRktulyatAm itau । ullekham tArakAsparzAd bhede bhedaH prakIrtyate॥
