राक्षसालयदेवौकःशैलयोर् मध्यसूत्रगाः। रोहीतकम् अवन्ती च यथा सन्निहितम् सरः ॥

sanskrit

(The cities named) Rohítaka, Ujjayiní, Kurukshetra &c. are at the line between Lanká and the north pole of the Earth, (this line is called the Middle Line of the Earth.)

english translation

rAkSasAlayadevaukaHzailayor madhyasUtragAH। rohItakam avantI ca yathA sannihitam saraH ॥
