कलादि तत् फलम् प्राच्याम् ग्रहेभ्यः परिशोधयेत्। रेखाप्रतीचीसम्स्थाने प्रक्षिपेत् स्युः स्वदेशजा ॥

Subtract the quotient in minutes from the place of the planet (which is found at the mid-night of Lanká, as mentioned in S'loka 53,) if the given place be east of the Middle Line, but if it be west, add the quotient to it, and (you will get) the planet's place at (the mid-night of) the given place.

english translation

kalAdi tat phalam prAcyAm grahebhyaH parizodhayet। rekhApratIcIsamsthAne prakSipet syuH svadezajA ॥
