हन्यतां हन्यतां पाप इति षष्टिसहस्रिणः । उदायुधा अभिययुरुन्मिमेष तदा मुनिः ॥ ९-८-११ ॥

Certainly he is very sinful. Kill him! Kill him!” Shouting like this, the sons of Sagara, sixty thousand all together, raised their weapons. When they approached the sage, the sage opened His eyes. ॥ 9-8-11 ॥

english translation

यह निश्चय ही बड़ा पापी है। इसे मारो, मारो।” इस प्रकार चिल्लाते हुए सगर के साठ हजार पुत्रों ने एकसाथ अपने हथियार उठा लिये। जब वे मुनि के निकट पहुँचे तो मुनि ने अपनी आँखें खोलीं। ॥ ९-८-११ ॥
