एवं द्वितीये तृतीये चतुर्थे पञ्चमे तथा । अभ्येत्याभ्येत्य स्थविरो विप्रो भूत्वाऽऽह वृत्रहा ।। ९-७-१९ ।।

sanskrit

In this way, at the end of the second, third, fourth and fifth years, when Rohita wanted to return to his capital, the King of heaven, Indra, approached him as an old brāhmaṇa and forbade him to return, repeating the same words as in the previous year. ।। 9-7-19 ।।

english translation

इस तरह द्वितीय, तृतीय, चतुर्थ तथा पंचम वर्षों के अन्त में जब-जब रोहित अपनी राजधानी लौटना चाहता तो इन्द्र एक वृद्ध ब्राह्मण के वेश में उसके पास पहुँचता और वापस जाने के लिए उसे मना करता। वह गत वर्ष जैसे ही शब्दों को फिर से दुहराता। ।। ९-७-१९ ।।
