रोमपादसुतो बभ्रुर्बभ्रोः कृतिरजायत । उशिकस्तत्सुतस्तस्माच्चेदिश्चैद्यादयो नृप ॥ ९-२४-२ ॥
The son of Romapāda was Babhru, from whom there came a son named Kṛti. The son of Kṛti was Uśika, and the son of Uśika was Cedi. From Cedi was born the king known as Caidya and others. ॥ 9-24-2 ॥
english translation
रोमपाद का पुत्र बभ्रु हुआ जिससे कृति नामक पुत्र की उत्पत्ति हुई। कृति का पुत्र उशिक हुआ और उशिक का पुत्र चेदि था। चेदि से चैद्य तथा अन्य राजा पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए। ॥ ९-२४-२ ॥
