ममायं न तवेत्युच्चैस्तस्मिन् विवदमानयोः । पप्रच्छुरृषयो देवा नैवोचे व्रीडिता तु सा ॥ ९-१४-११ ॥
Fighting again broke out between Bṛhaspati and the moon-god, both of whom claimed, “This is my child, not yours!” All the saints and demigods present asked Tārā whose child the newborn baby actually was, but because she was ashamed she could not immediately answer. ॥ 9-14-11 ॥

फिर से बृहस्पति और सोम के बीच झगड़ा होने लगा क्योंकि दोनों दावा कर रहे थे, “यह मेरा पुत्र है, तुम्हारा नहीं है।” वहाँ पर उपस्थित सारे ऋषियों तथा देवताओं ने तारा से पूछा कि यह नवजात शिशु वास्तव में किसका है, किन्तु वह लज्जित होने के कारण तुरन्त कुछ भी उत्तर न दे पाई। ॥ ९-१४-११ ॥
