नैवं वेद महाभाग भवान् कामवशं गतः । तेजोऽनुभावं सीताया येन नीतो दशामिमाम् ।। ९-१०-२७ ।।

sanskrit

O greatly fortunate one, you came under the influence of lusty desires, and therefore you could not understand the influence of mother Sītā. Now, because of her curse, you have been reduced to this state, having been killed by Lord Rāmacandra. ।। 9-10-27 ।।

english translation

हे परम सौभाग्यवान, तुम कामवासना के वशीभूत हो गये थे; अतएव तुम सीतादेवी के प्रभाव (तेज) को नहीं समझ सके। तुम भगवान् रामचन्द्र द्वारा मारे जाकर सीताजी के शाप से इस दशा को प्राप्त हुए हो। ।। ९-१०-२७ ।।
