नारद उवाच एतावद्वर्णितगुणो भक्त्या भक्तेन निर्गुणः । प्रह्लादं प्रणतं प्रीतो यतमन्युरभाषत ॥ ७-९-५१ ॥
The great saint Nārada said: Thus Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva was pacified by the devotee Prahlāda Mahārāja with prayers offered from the transcendental platform. The Lord gave up His anger, and being very kind to Prahlāda, who was offering prostrated obeisances, He spoke as follows. ॥ 7-9-51 ॥

महान् ऋषि नारद ने कहा : इस प्रकार अपने भक्त प्रह्लाद महाराज द्वारा दिव्य पद से प्रार्थना किये जाने पर भगवान् नृसिंह देव शान्त हो गये। उन्होंने अपना क्रोध त्याग दिया और दण्डवत् प्रणाम करने वाले प्रह्लाद पर अत्यधिक दयालु होने के कारण उनसे इस प्रकार बोले। ॥ ७-९-५१ ॥
