पादयोः पतितं बालं प्रतिनन्द्याशिषासुरः । परिष्वज्य चिरं दोर्भ्यां परमामाप निर्वृतिम् ।। ७-५-२० ।।

sanskrit

When Hiraṇyakaśipu saw that his child had fallen at his feet and was offering obeisances, as an affectionate father he immediately began showering blessings upon the child and embraced him with both arms. A father naturally feels happy to embrace his son, and Hiraṇyakaśipu became very happy in this way. ।। 7-5-20 ।।

english translation

जब हिरण्यकशिपु ने देखा कि उसका पुत्र उसके चरणों पर विनत है और प्रणाम कर रहा है, तो उसने तुरन्त ही वत्सल पिता की भाँति अपने पुत्र को आशीर्वाद देते हुए उसे अपनी दोनों बाँहों में भरकर उसका आलिंगन किया। पिता स्वभावत: अपने पुत्र का आलिंगन करके प्रसन्न होता है और इस तरह हिरण्यकशिपु अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हुआ। ।।‌ ७-५-२० ।।
