Ṣaṇḍa and Amarka, the teachers of Prahlāda Mahārāja, chastised and threatened their disciple in various ways and began teaching him about the paths of religion, economic development and sense gratification. This is the way they educated him. ।। 7-5-18 ।।

प्रह्लाद महाराज के शिक्षक षण्ड तथा अमर्क ने अपने शिष्य को तरह-तरह से डराया धमकाया और उसे धर्म, अर्थ तथा काम के मार्गों के विषय में पढ़ाना प्रारम्भ कर दिया। यह थी उनकी शिक्षा देने की विधि। ।। ७-५-१८ ।।
