तृतीयायां शुक्लपक्षे नवम्यामथ कार्तिके । चतसृष्वप्यष्टकासु हेमन्ते शिशिरे तथा ।। ७-१४-२१ ।।

sanskrit

One should perform this ceremony on the Akṣaya-tṛtīyā day, on the ninth lunar day of the bright fortnight of the month of Kārtika, on the four aṣṭakās in the winter season and cool season, on the seventh lunar day of the bright fortnight of the month of Māgha,(January-February) ।। 7-14-21 ।।

english translation

मनुष्य को चाहिए कि अक्षय तृतीया को, कार्तिक मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी को, शीतऋतु में चारों अष्टकाओं के दिन, माघ मास की शुक्ला सप्तमी के दिन,(जनवरी फरवरी) ।। ७-१४-२१ ।।
