देवा ऊचुः नमस्ते यज्ञवीर्याय वयसे उत ते नमः । नमस्ते ह्यस्तचक्राय नमः सुपुरुहूतये ।। ६-९-३१ ।।

sanskrit

The demigods said: O Supreme Personality of Godhead, You are competent to give the results of sacrifice, and You are also the time factor that destroys all such results in due course. You are the one who releases the cakra to kill the demons. O Lord, who possess many varieties of names, we offer our respectful obeisances unto You. ।। 6-9-31 ।।

english translation

देवताओं ने कहा—हे भगवन्! आप यज्ञ फल को देने में समर्थ हैं। आप ही वह काल हैं, जो इन फलों को कालान्तर में नष्ट कर देता है। आप असुरों को मारने के लिए चक्र को चलाते हैं। हे अनेक नामधारण करनेवाले भगवान्! हम लोग आपको सादर नमस्कार करते हैं। ।। ६-९-३१ ।।
