एवं चिन्तयतस्तस्य मघोनो भगवान् गृहात् । बृहस्पतिर्गतोऽदृष्टां गतिमध्यात्ममायया ।। ६-७-१६ ।।

sanskrit

While Indra, the King of the demigods, thought in this way and repented in his own assembly, Bṛhaspati, the most powerful spiritual master, understood his mind. Thus he became invisible to Indra and left home, for Bṛhaspati was spiritually more powerful than King Indra. ।। 6-7-16 ।।

english translation

जिस समय देवताओं के राजा इन्द्र इस प्रकार सोच रहे थे और अपनी ही सभा में पश्चात्ताप कर रहे थे, परम शक्तिमान गुरु बृहस्पति उनके भाव को जान गये। अत: अदृश्य होकर वे अपने घर से चले गये, क्योंकि राजा इन्द्र की अपेक्षा वे आत्मज्ञान में अत्यधिक आगे थे। ।। ६-७-१६ ।।
