तत्सङ्गभ्रंशितैश्वर्यं संसरन्तं कुभार्यवत् । तद्गतीरबुधस्येह किमसत्कर्मभिर्भवेत् ।। ६-५-१५ ।।

[Nārada Muni had also spoken of a man who is the husband of the prostitute. The Haryaśvas understood this as follows.] If one becomes the husband of a prostitute, he loses all independence. Similarly, if a living entity has polluted intelligence, he prolongs his materialistic life. Frustrated by material nature, he must follow the movements of the intelligence, which brings various conditions of happiness and distress. If one performs fruitive activities under such conditions, what will be the benefit? ।। 6-5-15 ।।

english translation

[नारद मुनि ने एक ऐसे मनुष्य की भी बात कही थी जो वेश्या का पति है। हर्यश्वों ने इसे इस प्रकार समझा] यदि कोई पुरुष किसी वेश्या का पति बनता है, तो वह अपनी सारी स्वतंत्रता खो देता है। इसी तरह यदि जीव की बुद्धि दूषित है, तो वह अपने भौतिकतावादी जीवन को बढ़ा लेता है। भौतिक प्रकृति से निराश होकर उसे बुद्धि की गतियों का अनुसरण करना पड़ता है, जो सुख तथा दुख की विविध स्थितियों को लाती हैं। यदि कोई ऐसी स्थितियों में सकाम कर्म करता है, तो इससे क्या लाभ होगा? ।। ६-५-१५ ।।
