Srimad Bhagavatam
सर्वेषामप्यघवतामिदमेव सुनिष्कृतम् । नामव्याहरणं विष्णोर्यतस्तद्विषया मतिः ॥ ६-२-१० ॥
Simply by chanting the holy name of Lord Viṣṇu, such sinful persons may attract the attention of the Supreme Lord, who therefore considers, “Because this man has chanted My holy name, My duty is to give him protection.” ॥ 6-2-10 ॥
english translation
भगवान् विष्णु के पवित्र नाम का केवल कीर्तन करने से ऐसे पापी व्यक्ति भगवान् का ध्यान आकृष्ट कर सकते हैं और वे इसीलिए विचार करते हैं कि, “इस व्यक्ति ने मेरे नाम का उच्चारण किया है, इसलिए मेरा कर्तव्य है कि उसे सुरक्षा प्रदान करूँ।” ॥ ६-२-१० ॥
