एवं शुश्रूषितस्तात भगवान् कश्यपः स्त्रिया । प्रहस्य परमप्रीतो दितिमाहाभिनन्द्य च ॥ ६-१८-३१ ॥
O my dear one, the most powerful sage Kaśyapa, being extremely pleased by the mild behavior of his wife Diti, smiled and spoke to her as follows. ॥ 6-18-31 ॥

हे प्रिय! अपनी पत्नी दिति के विनम्र आचरण से अत्यधिक प्रसन्न होकर परम शक्तिशाली साधु पुरुष कश्यप हँस पड़े और इस प्रकार बोले। ॥ ६-१८-३१ ॥

कश्यप उवाच वरं वरय वामोरु प्रीतस्तेऽहमनिन्दिते । स्त्रिया भर्तरि सुप्रीते कः काम इह चागमः ॥ ६-१८-३२ ॥
Kaśyapa Muni said: O beautiful woman, O irreproachable lady, since I am very much pleased by your behavior, you may ask me for any benediction you want. If a husband is pleased, what desires are difficult for his wife to obtain, either in this world or in the next? ॥ 6-18-32 ॥

कश्यप मुनि ने कहा—हे अनिन्द्य सुन्दरी! मैं तुम्हारे आचरण से परम प्रसन्न हूँ, अत: तुम चाहे जो भी वर माँग सकती हो। यदि पति प्रसन्न हो तो चाहे इस लोक की या अन्य लोक की वह कौन सी इच्छा है, जो पूरी न हो सके? ॥ ६-१८-३२ ॥

पतिरेव हि नारीणां दैवतं परमं स्मृतम् । मानसः सर्वभूतानां वासुदेवः श्रियः पतिः ॥ ६-१८-३३ ॥
A husband is the supreme demigod for a woman. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Vāsudeva, the husband of the goddess of fortune, is situated in everyone’s heart ॥ 6-18-33 ॥

पति ही स्त्रियों के लिए परम देवता होता है। लक्ष्मीपति भगवान् वासुदेव सबों के हृदय में स्थित हैं ॥ ६-१८-३३ ॥

स एव देवतालिङ्गैर्नामरूपविकल्पितैः । इज्यते भगवान् पुम्भिः स्त्रीभिश्च पतिरूपधृक् ॥ ६-१८-३४ ॥
And is worshiped through the various names and forms of the demigods by fruitive workers. Similarly, a husband represents the Lord as the object of worship for a woman. ॥ 6-1-34 ॥

और सकाम भक्तों द्वारा विभिन्न नामों तथा देव-रूपों में पूजे जाते हैं। इसी प्रकार पति भगवान् के रूप में पत्नी के लिए पूजा की वस्तु है। ॥ ६-१८-३४ ॥

तस्मात्पतिव्रतानार्यः श्रेयस्कामाः सुमध्यमे । यजन्तेऽनन्यभावेन पतिमात्मानमीश्वरम् ॥ ६-१८-३५ ॥
My dear wife, whose body is so beautiful, your waist being thin, a conscientious wife should be chaste and should abide by the orders of her husband. She should very devoutly worship her husband as a representative of Vāsudeva. ॥ 6-18-35 ॥

हे सुन्दर शरीर वाली, तन्वंगी प्रिये! कर्तव्यनिष्ठा पत्नी को सदाचारिणी और अपने पति की आज्ञाकारिणी होना चाहिए। उसे अपने पति की पूजा वासुदेव के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में भक्तिपूर्वक करनी चाहिए। ॥ ६-१८-३५ ॥
