वचस्युपरतेऽप्राप्य य एको मनसा सह । अनामरूपश्चिन्मात्रः सोऽव्यान्नः सदसत्परः ।। ६-१६-२१ ।।

sanskrit

The words and mind of the conditioned soul cannot approach the Supreme Personality of Godhead, for material names and forms are not applicable to the Lord, who is entirely spiritual, beyond the conception of gross and subtle forms. The impersonal Brahman is another of His forms. May He, by His pleasure, protect us. ।। 6-16-21 ।।

बद्धजीव की वाणी तथा मन पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् तक नहीं पहुँच पाते क्योंकि वे नितान्त आत्मस्वरूप, स्थूल तथा सूक्ष्म रूपों की अवधारणाओं से परे हैं, अत: उन पर भौतिक नाम तथा रूप लागू नहीं होते। निर्गुण ब्रह्म उनके अन्य रूपों में से है। वे अपने आनन्द-स्वरुप से हमारी रक्षा करें। ।। ६-१६-२१ ।।

As pots made completely of earth are situated on earth after being created and are transformed into earth again when broken, this cosmic manifestation is caused by the Supreme Brahman, situated in the Supreme Brahman, and annihilated in the same Supreme Brahman. Therefore, since the Supreme Lord is the cause of Brahman, let us offer Him our respectful obeisances. ।। 6-16-22 ।।

जिस प्रकार मिट्टी के पात्र बनाये जाने के बाद पृथ्वी पर स्थित रहते हैं और तोड़ दिये जाने पर पुन: मिट्टी बन जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार से यह दृश्य जगत परम ब्रह्म द्वारा उत्पन्न किया जाता है, उन्हीं में स्थित रहता है और उन्हीं में विलीन हो जाता है। अत: ब्रह्म के कारण स्वरूप पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम को हमारा सादर नमस्कार है। ।। ६-१६-२२ ।।

The Supreme Brahman emanates from the Supreme Personality of Godhead and expands like the sky. Although untouched by anything material, it exists within and without. Nonetheless, the mind, intelligence, senses and living force can neither touch Him nor know Him. I offer unto Him my respectful obeisances. ।। 6-16-23 ।।

पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् से प्रादुर्भूत होकर परम ब्रह्म व्योम की तरह विस्तृत हो जाता है। यद्यपि इसको कोई भौतिक पदार्थ स्पर्श नहीं कर सकता, किन्तु यह भीतर तथा बाहर विद्यमान है। तो भी मन, बुद्धि, इन्द्रियाँ तथा प्राणशक्ति न तो उसका स्पर्श कर सकती हैं, न उसे जान सकती हैं। मैं उनको सादर नमस्कार करता हूँ। ।। ६-१६-२३ ।।

As iron has the power to burn when made red-hot in the association of fire, so the body, senses, living force, mind and intelligence, although merely lumps of matter, can function in their activities when infused with a particle of consciousness by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As iron cannot burn unless heated by fire, the bodily senses cannot act unless favored by the Supreme Brahman. ।। 6-16-24 ।।

जिस प्रकार अग्नि के सम्पर्क से तप्त हुआ लोहा भस्म कर देने में समर्थ है उसी प्रकार शरीर, इन्द्रियाँ, प्राणशक्ति, मन तथा बुद्धि पदार्थ के पिण्ड मात्र होते हुए भी श्रीभगवान् द्वारा चेतना के कणमात्र से पूरित होने पर अपने-अपने कार्य करने लगते हैं। जिस प्रकार अग्नि में तप्त हुए बिना लोहा कुछ भी जला पाने में अशक्त रहता है उसी प्रकार ये शारीरिक इन्द्रियाँ परमेश्वर की कृपादृष्टि के बिना कार्य नहीं कर सकतीं। ।। ६-१६-२४ ।।

You are the most perfect, self-realized master of all mystic power. Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto You. ।। 6-16-25 ।।
