Srimad Bhagavatam
तेभ्यो हिरण्यं रजतं वासांस्याभरणानि च । ग्रामान् हयान् गजान् प्रादाद्धेनूनामर्बुदानि षट् ॥ ६-१४-३४ ॥
Unto the brāhmaṇas who took part in the ritualistic ceremony the King gave charity of gold, silver, garments, ornaments, villages, horses and elephants, as well as sixty crores of cows ॥ six hundred million cows॥. ॥ 6-14-34 ॥
english translation
राजा ने इस अनुष्ठान में भाग लेने वाले समस्त ब्राह्मणों को दान में सोना, चाँदी, वस्त्र, आभूषण, गाँव, घोड़े, हाथी और साठ करोड़ गौएँ दीं। ॥ ६-१४-३४ ॥
