गिरिराट् पादचारीव पद्भ्यां निर्जरयन् महीम् । जग्रास स समासाद्य वज्रिणं सहवाहनम् ॥ ६-१२-२९ ॥
Thus assuming a gigantic body, the great demon Vṛtrāsura shook even the mountains and began crushing the surface of the earth with his legs, as if he were the Himālayas walking about. ॥ 6-12-29 ॥
english translation
इस प्रकार विराट शरीर धारण करके उस महान् असुर वृत्रासुर ने पर्वतों तक को हिला दिया और अपने पाँवों से पृथ्वी की सतह को इस प्रकार मर्दित करने लगा मानो वह चलता हुआ साक्षात् हिमालय पर्वत हो। ॥ ६-१२-२९ ॥
