विकर्षतोऽन्तर्हृदयाद्दासीपतिमजामिलम् । यमप्रेष्यान् विष्णुदूता वारयामासुरोजसा ॥ ६-१-३१ ॥
The order carriers of Yamarāja were snatching the soul from the core of the heart of Ajāmila, the husband of the prostitute, but with resounding voices the messengers of Lord Viṣṇu, the Viṣṇudūtas, forbade them to do so. ॥ 6-1-31 ॥

यमराज के दूत वेश्यापति अजामिल के हृदय के भीतर से आत्मा को खींच रहे थे, किन्तु भगवान् विष्णु के दूतों ने गूंजती वाणी में उन्हें ऐसा करने से मना किया। ॥ ६-१-३१ ॥
