स पाशहस्तांस्त्रीन् दृष्ट्वा पुरुषान् भृशदारुणान् । वक्रतुण्डानूर्ध्वरोम्ण आत्मानं नेतुमागतान् ॥ ६-१-२८ ॥
Ajāmila then saw three awkward persons with deformed bodily features, fierce, twisted faces, and hair standing erect on their bodies. With ropes in their hands, they had come to take him away to the abode of Yamarāja. ॥ 6-1-28 ॥

तब अजामिल ने तीन भयावह व्यक्तियों को देखा जिनके शरीर वक्र, भयानक और मुख टेढ़े थे तथा शरीर पर रोम खड़े हुए थे। वे अपने हाथों में रस्सियाँ लिए हुए उसे यमराज के धाम ले जाने के लिए आये थे। ॥ ६-१-२८ ॥
