मनो वचो दृक्करणेहितस्य साक्षात्कृतं मे परिबर्हणं हि । विना पुमान् येन महाविमोहात् कृतान्तपाशान्न विमोक्तुमीशेत् ॥ ५-५-२७ ॥
The true activity of the sense organs — mind, sight, words and all the knowledge-gathering and working senses — is to engage fully in My service. Unless his senses are thus engaged, a living entity cannot think of getting out of the great entanglement of material existence, which is exactly like Yamarāja’s stringent rope. ॥ 5-5-27 ॥

मन, दृष्टि, वचन तथा समस्त ज्ञानेन्द्रिय तथा कर्मेन्द्रिय इन्द्रियों का वास्तविक कार्य मेरी सेवा में लगे रहना है। जब तक जीवात्मा की इन्द्रियाँ इस प्रकार सेवारत नहीं रहतीं, तब तक जीवात्मा को यमराज के पाश सदृश सांसारिक बन्धन से निकल पाना दुष्कर है। ॥ ५-५-२७ ॥
