रूपं तपोधन तपश्चरतां तपोघ्नं ह्येतत्तु केन तपसा भवतोपलब्धम् । चर्तुं तपोऽर्हसि मया सह मित्र मह्यं किं वा प्रसीदति स वै भवभावनो मे ।। ५-२-१५ ।।

O best among those performing austerities, where did you get this wonderful beauty that dismantles the austerities performed by others? Where have you learned this art? What austerity have you undergone to achieve this beauty, my dear friend? I desire that you join me to perform austerity and penance, for it may be that the creator of the universe, Lord Brahmā, being pleased with me, has sent you to become my wife. ।। 5-2-15 ।।

english translation

हे श्रेष्ठ तपस्वी, तुम्हें दूसरों की तपस्या को भंग करने वाला यह अद्भुत् रूप कहाँ से प्राप्त हुआ? तुमने यह कला कहाँ से सीखी? हे मित्र, तुमने इस सुन्दरता को प्राप्त करने के लिए कौन सा तप किया है? मेरी इच्छा है कि तुम मेरे साथ तपस्या में सम्मिलित हो जाओ, क्योंकि हो सकता है कि इस ब्रह्माण्ड के स्रष्टा भगवान् ब्रह्मा ने मुझ पर प्रसन्न होकर तुम्हें मेरी पत्नी बनने के लिए भेजा हो। ।। ५-२-१५ ।।

rUpaM tapodhana tapazcaratAM tapoghnaM hyetattu kena tapasA bhavatopalabdham | cartuM tapo'rhasi mayA saha mitra mahyaM kiM vA prasIdati sa vai bhavabhAvano me || 5-2-15 ||
