गीतं मयेदं नरदेवनन्दनाः परस्य पुंसः परमात्मनः स्तवम् । जपन्त एकाग्रधियस्तपो महच्चरध्वमन्ते तत आप्स्यथेप्सितम् ।। ४-२४-७९ ।।

sanskrit

My dear sons of the King, the prayers I have recited to you are meant for pleasing the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Supersoul. I advise you to recite these prayers, which are as effective as great austerities. In this way, when you are mature, your life will be successful, and you will certainly achieve all your desired objectives without fail. ।। 4-24-79 ।।

english translation

हे राजकुमारो, मैंने तुम्हें जो स्तुति गाकर सुनाई वह परमात्मा स्वरूप भगवान् को प्रसन्न करने के निमित्त थी। मैं तुम्हें इस स्तुति को गाने की सलाह देता हूँ, क्योंकि यह बड़ी-से-बड़ी तपस्या के समान प्रभावशाली है। इस प्रकार जब तुम सब परिपक्व हो जाओगे तो तुम्हारा जीवन सफल होगा और तुम्हें सारे अभीष्ट लक्ष्य प्राप्त हो सकेंगे। ।। ४-२४-७९ ।।
