गुणात्मकानीन्द्रियाणि भूतादिप्रभवा गुणाः । मनः सर्वविकारात्मा बुद्धिर्विज्ञानरूपिणी ।। २-१०-३२ ‌‌।।

The sense organs are attached to the modes of material nature, and the modes of material nature are products of the false ego. The mind is subjected to all kinds of material experiences (happiness and distress), and the intelligence is the feature of the mind’s deliberation. ।। 2-10-32 ‌‌।।

english translation

इन्द्रियाँ प्रकृत्ति के गुणों से जुड़ी होती हैं और भौतिक प्रकृति के ये गुण मिथ्या अहंकार से जनित हैं। मन पर समस्त प्रकार के भौतिक अनुभवों (सुख-दुख) का प्रभाव पड़ता है और बुद्धि मन के तर्क-वितर्क स्वरूप है। ।। २-१०-३२ ‌‌।।
