O King among men, it is not fitting that this king of snakes meet death at your hands, for he has drunk the nectar of the immortal demigods. Consequently he is not subject to the ordinary symptoms of old age and death. ।। 12-6-24 ।।

हे मनुष्यों के राजा, यह उचित नहीं है कि साँपों का यह राजा आपके हाथों मृत्यु को प्राप्त हो, क्योंकि उसने अमर देवताओं का अमृत पी लिया है। परिणामस्वरूप वह बुढ़ापे और मृत्यु के सामान्य लक्षणों के अधीन नहीं है। ।। १२-६-२४ ।।
