अहं च संस्मारित आत्मतत्त्वं श्रुतं पुरा मे परमर्षिवक्त्रात् । प्रायोपवेशे नृपतेः परीक्षितः सदस्यृषीणां महतां च शृण्वताम् ॥ १२-१२-५७ ॥
I also have now been fully reminded of the science of God, which I previously heard from the mouth of the great sage Śukadeva Gosvāmī. I was present in the assembly of great sages who heard him speak to King Parīkṣit as the monarch sat fasting until death. ॥ 12-12-57 ॥

मुझे भी अब ईश्वर के विज्ञान की पूरी याद आ गई है, जिसे मैंने पहले महान ऋषि शुकदेव गोस्वामी के मुख से सुना था। मैं महान ऋषियों की सभा में उपस्थित था, जिन्होंने उन्हें राजा परीक्षित से बात करते हुए सुना था जब राजा मृत्यु तक उपवास पर बैठे थे। ॥ १२-१२-५७ ॥
