Srimad Bhagavatam
अर्यमा पुलहोऽथौजाः प्रहेतिः पुञ्जिकस्थली । नारदः कच्छनीरश्च नयन्त्येते स्म माधवम् ॥ १२-११-३४ ॥
Aryamā as the sun-god, Pulaha as the sage, Athaujā as the Yakṣa, Praheti as the Rākṣasa, Puñjikasthalī as the Apsarā, Nārada as the Gandharva and Kacchanīra as the Nāga rule the month of Mādhava. ॥ 12-11-34 ॥

सूर्य देव के रूप में अर्यमा, ऋषि के रूप में पुलह, यक्ष के रूप में अथौजा, राक्षस के रूप में प्रहेति, अप्सरा के रूप में पुंजिकस्थली, गंधर्व के रूप में नारद और नागा के रूप में कच्चनीरा माधव महीने पर शासन करते हैं। ॥ १२-११-३४ ॥
