तत्राभिषिच्य शुचय उपोष्य सुसमाहिताः । देवताः पूजयिष्यामः स्नपनालेपनार्हणैः ।। ११-३०-७ ।।

sanskrit

There we should bathe for purification, fast, and fix our minds in meditation. We should then worship the demigods by bathing their images, anointing them with sandalwood pulp, and presenting them various offerings. ।। 11-30-7 ।।

english translation

वहां हमें शुद्धि के लिए स्नान करना चाहिए, उपवास करना चाहिए और अपने मन को ध्यान में लगाना चाहिए। फिर हमें देवताओं की छवियों को स्नान कराकर, चंदन से उनका अभिषेक करके और उन्हें विभिन्न प्रसाद चढ़ाकर उनकी पूजा करनी चाहिए। ।। ११-३०-७ ।।
