Srimad Bhagavatam
श्रीवत्साङ्कं घनश्यामं तप्तहाटकवर्चसम् । कौशेयाम्बरयुग्मेन परिवीतं सुमङ्गलम् ॥ ११-३०-२९ ॥
His complexion was the color of a dark blue cloud and His effulgence the color of molten gold, and His all-auspicious form bore the mark of Śrīvatsa. ॥ 11-30-29 ॥

उनका रंग गहरे नीले बादल के समान था और उनकी चमक पिघले हुए सोने के समान थी, और उनके सर्व-शुभ रूप में श्रीवत्स का चिन्ह था। ॥ ११-३०-२९ ॥
