भवेऽस्मिन् क्लिश्यमानानामविद्याकामकर्मभिः । श्रवणस्मरणार्हाणि करिष्यन्निति केचन ॥ १-८-३५ ॥
And yet others say that You appeared for the sake of rejuvenating the devotional service of hearing, remembering, worshiping and so on in order that the conditioned souls suffering from material pangs might take advantage and gain liberation. ॥ 1-8-35 ॥

तथा कुछ कहते हैं कि आप श्रवण, स्मरण, पूजन आदि की भक्ति को जागृत करने के लिए प्रकट हुए हैं, जिससे भौतिक कष्टों को भोगनेवाले बद्धजीव इसका लाभ उठाकर मुक्ति प्राप्त कर सकें। ॥ १-८-३५ ॥
