नमोऽकिञ्चनवित्ताय निवृत्तगुणवृत्तये । आत्मारामाय शान्ताय कैवल्यपतये नमः ॥ १-८-२७ ॥
My obeisances are unto You, who are the property of the materially impoverished. You have nothing to do with the actions and reactions of the material modes of nature. You are self-satisfied, and therefore You are the most gentle and are master of the monists. ॥ 1-8-27 ॥

मैं निर्धनों के धन आपको नमस्कार करती हूँ। आपको प्रकृति के भौतिक गुणों की क्रियाओं-प्रतिक्रियाओं से कोई सरोकार नहीं है। आप आत्म-तुष्ट हैं, अतएव आप परम शान्त तथा अद्वैतवादियों के स्वामी कैवल्य-पति हैं। ॥ १-८-२७ ॥
